Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) slammed COVID-19 lockdowns.
In an interview with the ‘Daily Wire‘ on Wednesday, Crenshaw criticized Democrats for not following their own coronavirus restrictions. He called them, “elitists who think that they know better than everyone else.”
The Texas representative also claimed the lockdowns are unscientific and based on “emotional decision making.”
Lockdowns are unscientific and the minimal benefits do not come close to justifying the extreme costs on lives and livelihoods.

Instead, Crenshaw said Americans should be well informed and decide for themselves how they want to handle the virus.
“Our policy needs to be very clear,” Crenshaw said. “You give people the information they need to explain to them the science of social distancing and mask-wearing and allow them to comply. Allow businesses to create those so they’re self-regulated in that manner.”
Crenshaw encouraged small businesses to band together to take legal action against local authorities, who he said unconstitutionally enforced lockdown measures.
