An Oregon doctor’s medical license was suspended after he refused to wear a face mask in his own clinic.

On Thursday, the state’s medical board voted to immediately and indefinitely suspend doctor Steven Latulippe’s license. The board claimed their decision was due to concern for the safety of current and future patients.

This came weeks after Latulippe told demonstrators at a ‘Stop the Steal’ rally that he and his staff do not wear masks at either of their clinics. He encouraged others to follow suit.

“I want you to know that I never shut down during the entire COVID season from the time it was declared till now,” said Latulippe. “I hate to tell you this, it might scare you, but I and my staff, none of us — once– wore a mask in my clinic.”

He emphasized that the clinic didn’t experience any problems as a result.

Despite his remarks, he said patients who did have suspected cases of COVID-19 were asked to wear a mask. Latulippe said he wants to expose what he calls “corona mania.”
